Terms of Use

Effective date: 21 September 2026

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of Enji Lite purchased through this website. They are written for teams and individuals who subscribe online and use Enji Lite to connect their project tools and get AI-assisted answers, progress tracking, and reports.

1. Who you are contracting with

Enji AI LLC provides and licenses Enji Lite; Dodo Payments sells it to you as merchant of record. We develop and operate Enji Lite, provide product support, and license the Service to you under these Terms. You buy your subscription from Dodo Payments, as described below. We are a limited liability company registered in the Kyrgyz Republic, taxpayer identification number 01907202310418, registered address 11 microdistrict, 14/4, Bishkek City, Kyrgyz Republic, 720049. Throughout these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Enji AI LLC.

Dodo Payments is the seller of record and takes your payment. Your subscription is sold to you by Dodo Payments Inc. and its affiliates (“Dodo Payments”), which acts as our reseller and merchant of record. Dodo Payments takes your payment, calculates and remits any applicable sales tax, VAT or GST, issues your invoice and receipt, and handles first-line support for billing, refunds and payment disputes. Your payment details go directly to Dodo Payments; we do not receive or store them. When you subscribe you also accept Dodo Payments’ Buyer Terms (dodopayments.com/legal/buyer-terms), which govern your purchase from Dodo Payments; these Terms govern your use of Enji Lite. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Dodo Payments. See section 9.

Dodo Payments accepts payment only from the countries on its own supported list, which changes over time. This does not limit who can use Enji Lite — the Trial plan (section 7) is available to anyone regardless of location — only who can complete a self-service payment for Basic, Growth, or Pro. If your country is not supported and you want a paid plan, write to us at contact@enji.ai and we will tell you what is possible.

You can reach us at contact@enji.ai or by telephone on +996 555 42 90 55.

In these Terms, “the Service” means Enji Lite: the web application, its chat assistant, integrations, scheduled reports, and dashboards.

2. What these Terms cover

These Terms cover self-service subscriptions bought on this website — Trial, Basic, Growth, and Pro.

3. The Service

Enji Lite connects to project-management tools you choose to authorize — task trackers, source control, a knowledge base, team messengers, and meeting transcripts — and provides an AI chat assistant that answers questions about your projects, tracks progress, and generates reports and dashboards from that connected data. In Jira, when you explicitly ask it to, it can also take an action on your behalf — for example creating or updating an issue, changing its status, assigning it, linking it to another issue, logging work, or managing a sprint. It does not do this on its own initiative, and it does not do it in any other connected tool — see section 14.

The Service does not track individual developer activity, time, or IDE/browser usage. Enji Lite works only with the data you connect through the integrations described in section 14.

4. Who may subscribe

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract. You may subscribe as an individual or on behalf of an organization. If you subscribe on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for it, and “you” means both you and that organization.

You may connect only tools, workspaces, and data that you or your organization own or are authorized to connect. Connecting a Jira instance, Slack workspace, repository, or Confluence space belonging to someone else without their authorization is a breach of these Terms, regardless of whether you personally have login access to it.

5. Plans and pricing

Enji Lite is offered on four plans: Trial ($0/month), Basic ($59/month), Growth ($119/month), and Pro ($199/month). Each plan includes a fixed dollar amount of monthly AI usage — $5 on Trial, $30 on Basic, $60 on Growth, and $100 on Pro — and its own limits on projects, connected sources per project, Slack/Telegram chats per project, multi-project chat, chat-history window, and automated reports per project. Current figures for all of these are shown in the product’s plan selection screen, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. These figures are launch pricing and, as described in section 8, may change with notice. Prices and plan limits are also published on our public pricing page at https://lite.enji.ai/pricing/

Taxes and currency. Prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable sales tax, VAT and GST, which Dodo Payments calculates from your billing country and adds at checkout before you pay. You pay in US dollars; if your card is in another currency, your bank or card issuer may convert the amount and charge its own fees.

6. AI usage and spending limits

Each plan includes a fixed dollar amount of AI usage per month: $5 on Trial, $30 on Basic, $60 on Growth, and $100 on Pro. When you use up the included amount, you can keep using the AI assistant by buying an AI usage top-up of $10, $25 or $50 in your account.

Your spending limit is the AI usage available to you: the included amount for your plan plus any top-ups you have bought. You will get alerts at 50%, 75%, 90% and 100% of your spending limit, both in the product and by email.

When you reach your spending limit, the AI assistant stops answering new questions until the next billing cycle or until you buy a top-up — nothing is charged beyond it without your action. The rest of the product — your projects, connected data, chat history, and dashboards — stays accessible.

Top-ups. A top-up is a one-time payment for extra AI usage, taken by Dodo Payments and added to the AI usage available to you. Top-ups have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, transferred or exchanged for money, and can be used only for AI features in Enji Lite. An unused top-up balance is not refunded, except where the law requires or Dodo Payments’ Buyer Terms provide, and then only for the part you have not used. A top-up balance does not expire while your account exists; it stays available if your subscription is suspended or cancelled and you later resume, and it is lost when your account or workspace is closed.

7. The Trial plan

New accounts start on a 14-day Trial, at $0/month with $5 of AI usage included, so you can try the Service with real project data before paying anything. The Trial runs for 14 days from the day you sign up. When it ends, access pauses until you choose a paid plan — your projects, connected data, and chat history stay in place, but the Service stops answering questions or running syncs until you upgrade to Basic, Growth, or Pro. Trial is also bounded by feature limits shown in the product’s plan selection screen — currently up to 2 projects, up to 3 connected sources per project, up to 1 Slack and 1 Telegram chat per project, and a 14-day chat-history window, with no multi-project chat, no charts in chat, and no automated reports. These limits may change at any time and are not a commitment of continued availability at any particular level. The Trial plan is provided as-is.

8. Price changes

We may change subscription prices, seat prices, or the AI usage included with a plan.

We will give you at least 30 days’ notice before an increase takes effect. A price change never affects a billing period you have already paid for.

If you do not accept a price increase, you may cancel before it takes effect, as described in section 9, and no further payment will be taken.

9. Subscription billing and cancellation

Subscriptions bill monthly in advance and renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. There is no annual plan at launch.

You can cancel at any time from your account settings or from the Dodo Payments customer portal (linked in your invoice email). Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then, and you are not charged again after that. Cancellation applies from the next billing period; we do not prorate or refund the unused part of the current period. When your subscription ends, access pauses in the same way as when the Trial ends (see section 7). If you ask us or Dodo Payments to cancel by email instead of using the portal, please do so at least 48 hours before the end of your billing period. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy at https://lite.enji.ai/privacy-policy/

Payment. Your payment is taken by Dodo Payments, which charges your payment method automatically at the start of each billing period; your subscription is confirmed when the payment is confirmed. Your payment details never reach us — they go directly to Dodo Payments. If a renewal payment fails, Dodo Payments may retry it and email you, and your subscription may be put on hold until you update your payment method in the customer portal.

Invoices. Dodo Payments issues your invoice and receipt, sent to the email you give at checkout. We do not issue invoices ourselves.

Plan changes. If you upgrade to a higher plan, the change takes effect immediately, you pay the full price of the new plan, and a new billing period starts on the day you upgrade, with the AI usage included in the new plan available from that day. We do not refund or credit the unused part of your previous plan, and unused included AI usage from your previous plan does not carry over. If you move to a lower plan, the change starts from your next billing period. A lower plan may have a shorter chat-history window for Slack and Telegram; once it applies, messages older than that window are deleted and cannot be restored (Privacy Policy, section 10).

Tax. Dodo Payments, as seller of record, is responsible for calculating, collecting and remitting sales tax, VAT and GST on your purchase, based on your billing country. Prices are shown excluding tax, which is added at checkout. If you buy as a business, you can enter a valid tax ID at checkout; where the law allows, tax may then not be charged (for example under a reverse-charge mechanism), and without a valid tax ID your purchase is treated as a consumer purchase. If you are entitled to a refund of tax charged, Dodo Payments’ Buyer Terms require you to contact Dodo Payments within 60 days of the purchase and to provide a valid tax code.

10. Refunds

Payments — subscriptions, upgrades, renewals and top-ups — are refunded only where the law requires or Dodo Payments’ Buyer Terms provide. A refund ends the paid plan and the AI usage included with it, and access pauses as after the Trial. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy at [insert URL]. Refunds are paid by Dodo Payments, as seller of record, to your original payment method. Refunds are at Dodo Payments’ discretion under its Buyer Terms, which also provide that unused subscription periods are not refunded.

No refunds for unused time. Cancelling stops future renewals only. We do not prorate charges or refund the unused part of a billing period, a previous plan after an upgrade, a downgrade, unused AI usage allowance or an unused top-up balance, except where the law requires or Dodo Payments’ Buyer Terms provide.

This does not reduce your statutory rights. If you are a consumer, you may have a statutory right to cancel a digital subscription within 14 days of first subscribing, to the extent that right applies and has not been exhausted by your use of the Service; nothing in these Terms removes a right you have under the law of your country of residence that cannot be excluded by agreement. Because Dodo Payments is the seller, this right is exercised against Dodo Payments and is governed by its Buyer Terms, under which you lose the right of withdrawal for digital content once access has begun, to the extent the law allows. You can also send your request to us at contact@enji.ai and we will pass it on.

To ask for a refund, contact us at contact@enji.ai from the email on your account. We will pass eligible requests to Dodo Payments; you can also contact Dodo Payments directly at the support address in your invoice email.

If you dispute a charge with your card issuer instead of contacting us first, please still let us know. Dodo Payments’ Buyer Terms ask you to contact Dodo Payments before raising a chargeback or dispute with your bank, and allow Dodo Payments to refuse further sales to you or charge USD 100 for a dispute it finds to be without merit. Contacting us or Dodo Payments first is almost always faster.

11. Your connected data and content

You (or your organization) retain ownership of the data in the tools you connect — your issues, repositories, messages, pages, and documents.

You grant us the limited rights needed to sync that data, operate the Service, answer your questions, take the specific action you request in Jira, generate reports and dashboards, provide support, and maintain security and reliability.

You are responsible for having the authority to connect the tools and data you connect (section 4), and for not submitting data through chat or connected tools that should not be processed by a third-party AI provider — for example production secrets or regulated personal data outside what your integrations and agreements permit.

12. Output the Service generates

Enji Lite generates chat answers, summaries, charts, and reports from your connected data. This section explains where you stand with that output.

We do not claim it. We make no claim of ownership over output generated for you, and to the extent any rights in it arise for us, they are yours. You may use, copy, and share that output without needing our permission.

We keep a licence to run the Service. So that we can operate the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to store, process, display, and use the output for the purpose of providing the Service to you, maintaining your chat history and reports, providing support, and keeping the Service reliable. This licence does not let us sell your output or use it for unrelated advertising.

We do not warrant that the output is accurate, complete, or free of third-party rights. Enji Lite is an AI assistant. Its answers, summaries, and reports can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong, and AI-generated text can occasionally resemble material belonging to someone else; neither should be treated as a substitute for checking the underlying tool or for professional judgment on anything that matters — status reporting to stakeholders, resourcing decisions, or anything else you’d otherwise verify yourself. Review its output before relying on it or passing it on, especially where it will inform a decision.

13. AI and automation

Enji Lite relies on AI. Its output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated, and reflects only the data you have connected and the history window your plan retains.

Reading is the default everywhere. The Service reads Jira, Linear, GitHub, GitLab, Confluence, Slack, Telegram, and Fireflies data to answer questions and generate reports.

Writing happens in two different ways, and only two:

  • In Jira, when you explicitly ask the assistant to take a specific action — create, comment on, transition, assign, or link an issue; log work; manage a sprint — it can, and each action requires your confirmation before it runs. Linear, GitHub, GitLab, Confluence, and Fireflies are read-only, even though some of their access grants are broader than that — see section 14.
  • In Slack and Telegram, the Service delivers scheduled reports, reminders, and chat answers as its own bot, into the channels, DMs, or chats you’ve configured. This isn’t an action taken “on your behalf” in a connected tool the way Jira is — it’s the Service communicating through those channels using its own identity, not yours.

Outside these two cases, the Service does not act automatically, and it never writes to Jira without you asking for that specific action first.

You remain responsible for decisions made using the Service’s output, for reviewing any action taken on your behalf before treating it as final, and for complying with your own organization’s policies on what data may be connected to a third-party AI product.

14. Connecting your tools

You can connect Jira, Linear, GitHub, GitLab, Confluence, Slack, Telegram, and Fireflies. How you grant access, whose authority the Service acts under, and what it actually does with that access differ by integration — this section states each precisely rather than as one general permission.

Jira, GitHub, GitLab, Linear, and Confluence — through OAuth, acting as you. These connect through the provider’s OAuth consent screen, or, for Linear, optionally a personal access token you create instead. Either way, the Service acts with the authority of whoever connected the integration — its access is whatever that OAuth grant or token allows, not a separate Enji Lite identity.

  • Jira. The OAuth consent requests broad access: creating, commenting on, transitioning, assigning, and linking issues; managing worklogs and custom fields; creating, updating, starting, and completing sprints; and registering webhooks. Automated syncing only reads (search, worklogs, comments, changelog). The chat assistant can use the write scopes when you explicitly ask for a specific action, with your confirmation before it runs. The webhook part of the consent is used internally to trigger the assistant’s own workflows — Lite doesn’t give you a webhook setup screen; if you want scheduled delivery, that goes to email, Slack, or Telegram instead, not a Jira webhook you configure yourself.
  • Linear. The OAuth consent requests read-only access. If you connect Linear with a personal access token instead, the key’s own permissions apply, but the Service only ever reads — it does not create or modify issues, sprints, or projects in Linear, regardless of what the token itself is capable of.
  • GitHub. The OAuth consent requests repo scope, which GitHub defines as full read-and-write access to your repositories, including code, issues, and pull requests. The Service does not use the write half of this: it reads repository metadata through the GitHub API, and during each sync makes a temporary clone without file contents to read commit history — commit messages, authors and dates — from the default branch; the clone is deleted as soon as the sync finishes, and no source code is stored. It uses this to answer questions and build reports, and does not create, comment on, or modify issues, pull requests, or code. The scope is broader than our use of it because GitHub does not offer a narrower one for what we need to read. Because this connects through your own personal OAuth grant rather than an app installation, access is tied to whoever authorized it — it stops working if that person revokes it or leaves your organization’s GitHub account, and GitHub’s own audit log attributes our activity to them by name. Consider a service or bot account for this reason, particularly for a shared team connection.
  • GitLab. The OAuth consent requests read-only API access. The Service only reads.
  • Confluence. The OAuth consent requests read-only access to spaces and pages. The Service only reads, to answer questions and build the AI assistant’s knowledge base.

Fireflies — through an API key, read-only.

  • Fireflies connects with an API key you create, not through OAuth. The Service only reads meeting transcripts — title, organiser, participants’ names and email addresses, what each speaker said, the summary and the meeting link — to answer questions and build reports, and never creates or changes anything in Fireflies.

Slack and Telegram — the Service acts as itself, not as you.

  • Slack connects through a bot added to your workspace, not through your personal Slack login. The bot reads the channels and direct messages you make it part of — including the names and email addresses of participants — to answer questions and build reports. It can also post messages: scheduled reports, reminders, and chat answers are sent by the Enji Lite bot into the channels or direct messages you’ve configured, not by any team member’s account.
  • Telegram connects by linking a chat to your account through our bot, not through OAuth. The same applies: our Telegram bot reads the linked chat and can send messages into it — scheduled reports and the same kind of delivery Slack receives.

Having permission to write is not the same as writing. Outside Jira (where you explicitly ask for a specific action) and Slack/Telegram (where the Service delivers reports and answers under its own identity), Enji Lite does not create, modify, or delete anything in a connected tool. Connecting a tool with a broad-access token, as GitHub’s does, does not mean the Service uses that breadth.

Disconnecting. You can disconnect any tool at any time from your account settings. This stops future syncing and message delivery immediately. It does not delete data already synced — your account keeps the issues, commits, or messages already pulled in, so reports and answers built from them keep working. There are two exceptions: disconnecting Confluence immediately deletes the indexed knowledge-base content, because that’s stored as search vectors rather than raw synced records, and disconnecting Fireflies immediately deletes its synced transcripts. Previously-synced data from every other integration is removed only when your workspace is closed — see section 10 of the Privacy Policy.

15. Security and credentials

You are responsible for protecting your account access, the OAuth grants and access tokens described in section 14, and any administrative users on your workspace.

Do not submit production secrets, regulated personal data, or client-confidential materials through chat or a connected tool unless the relevant permissions and contractual safeguards are in place — see section 11.

If you believe your account, a connected credential, or the Service has been compromised, notify us promptly at contact@enji.ai so we can help reduce risk. To report a suspected vulnerability in the Service itself, rather than a compromise of your own account, see section 22.

16. Acceptable use

You may not use Enji Lite to access data, workspaces, or accounts you are not authorized to connect, to evade your organization’s access controls, or to process personal data you are not authorized to handle.

You may not misuse the chat assistant to extract system prompts or internal configuration, attempt to bypass usage or spending limits, interfere with the Service, reverse engineer hosted components except where allowed by law, or use the Service to build a competing product from confidential or non-public features.

You are responsible for your use of the Service. To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Service in breach of these Terms — including connecting data you were not authorized to connect. If you are a consumer, this paragraph applies only to the extent the law allows.

17. Availability and changes

We may improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service. We aim to avoid unnecessary disruption, but we do not offer an uptime commitment or service credits on self-service plans, and scheduled reports run on a best-effort basis.

If we discontinue the Service or a material part of it, we will tell you at least 30 days beforehand.

18. Suspension and termination

We may pause, suspend, or limit access to protect the Service or others — for example, in cases of abuse, suspected compromise, fraud or chargeback abuse, or violation of these Terms. Suspension decisions are made by a person, and you can contest one at contact@enji.ai.

If we close your account because you breached these Terms, we will tell you why and give you a route to disagree. We will write to you setting out what we say you did. You have 14 days to reply, and a person who was not involved in the decision will look at it again. Your statutory rights are unaffected, and nothing here lets us withhold where the law says we may not.

19. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, loss of data, or business interruption not directly caused by our breach of a written obligation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with these Terms and the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. On the Trial plan, where you have paid nothing, this limit is zero — nothing in this section obliges us to pay more than you paid.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.
This section is also subject to the three exceptions in the Data Processing Agreement, section 11, which override it: liability to data subjects under Clause 12 of the Standard Contractual Clauses, statutory liability under Article 82 GDPR, and regulatory fines or enforcement directed at us.

20. Data Processing Agreement and signed agreements

Our Data Processing Agreement forms part of these Terms and applies where we process personal data on your behalf. You accept it when you accept these Terms; there is nothing to sign.

Signed customer-specific agreements may contain additional or different terms, including data processing terms, service levels, governing law, and dispute resolution. Where such an agreement applies, it controls over these Terms for that customer.

21. Governing law and disputes

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. We have chosen English law deliberately even though we are a Kyrgyz company: it is a familiar, neutral choice for international software terms.

If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.

Your purchase from Dodo Payments is governed by Dodo Payments’ Buyer Terms and the law stated in them; these Terms govern your use of the Service.

If something goes wrong, please contact contact@enji.ai first — most issues are resolved faster that way than through a formal dispute.

22. Reporting a vulnerability

We welcome reports of suspected vulnerabilities in Enji Lite or related infrastructure. Email contact@enji.ai with the affected URL, endpoint, or component, a clear description, reproduction steps, and an impact assessment. Do not include secrets, customer data, or destructive payloads unless strictly necessary to demonstrate the issue.

Safe harbour. If you research in good faith within the rules below, we will not pursue you: we will not bring a civil claim, we will not report you to law enforcement, and we will not ask your employer or hosting provider to act against you, for accessing our systems in the course of finding and reporting a vulnerability. This is our commitment and not a promise on behalf of third parties — if your testing reaches infrastructure we do not control (including Dodo Payments’ own systems), their rules apply instead.

When investigating, do not access, modify, delete, or exfiltrate other users’ data; run denial-of-service or load testing; use credential stuffing, phishing, or social engineering; install malware or attempt to maintain persistence; scan unrelated infrastructure; or publicly disclose the issue before we have had a chance to respond.

We will acknowledge your report within 5 business days and tell you what we think of it within 30 days, or explain why we need longer. We ask you to hold off publishing until a fix is out; if we have not fixed it within 90 days and have not agreed a different timetable with you, you are free to publish.

No bounty, reward, or payment is promised unless a separate written program is published.

23. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.

If a change materially affects your rights, we will give you reasonable notice before it takes effect. Continued use of Enji Lite after an update means you accept the revised terms. If you do not accept a material change, you may cancel your subscription as described in section 9.
